The first song from the film's soundtrack album, 'Tere Sang Yaara', sung by Atif Aslam and composed by Arko was released on 6 July 2016. Rana Daggubati had earlier called the movie an “unfinished film” back in 2019 and had also accused producer S.N. The songs featured in Rustom were composed by Arko, Raghav Sachar, Ankit Tiwari, and Jeet Gannguli, with lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir. The movie was shelved due to differences between the producer and the hero. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music, while Sathya is the cinematographer for the movie ‘1945’. It also features Sathyaraj, Nasser, and RJ Balaji in important roles.
